Oakwrights Bath is a well-established, award winning company which has been producing superior quality, hand crafted joinery since 2003.

Peter Love, Director

Peter made his first staircase at the age of 17 and has been passionate about joinery ever since.

He founded Oakwrights Bath Ltd in 2003 and has been growing the business steadily year on year. Peter has 40 years joinery experience and leads the Oakwrights team with over 250 years of combined experience.

In his spare time, Peter loves a bike ride with friends and also enjoys long walks with his wife Alison and puppy Teddy!

Joseph Reynolds, Sales Estimator

Joe joined our team in August 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in sales and customer service. He oversees all new enquiries, handling everything from preparing quotes to conducting on-site surveys, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for our clients.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys playing the guitar and exploring the outdoors with his girlfriend and their cocker spaniel.

Emma Hardiman, Finance & Admin Manager

Emma is responsible for all aspects of financial management and administration at Oakwrights, ensuring the smooth running of the business.

In her spare time she loves meeting up with her friends for meals out and a glass of Pinot Grigio (or three)!

 

Emma Stagg

Emma joined the team in November 2025 and brings plenty of valuable experience from her past roles. Emma works alongside her namesake to keep on top of all things finance and admin.

Outside of work, Emma loves spending time with her friends and family and can often be found at a live music gig.

Alfie Read, Bench Joiner

Alfie came to us for work experience in 2021 and we soon offered him a job! He then completed his apprenticeship course ‘Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery with distinction and is now a fully fledged bench joiner.

In his spare time Alfie takes a keen interest in his motorbike, cars, ice hockey and meeting up with his friends.

Aaron Stannard

Relocating across country from Suffolk and spending time living and working in Antarctica, Aaron joins us as (whatever my job title is?!) Outside of work, he is passionate about fitness—from gym training to running, including completing an Antarctic marathon. In his spare time he enjoys exploring live music, festivals, and all the new coffee spots in the area.

Toby Fowles, Finisher, Glazier, Machinist

Toby joined Oakwrights in 2019 as a sprayer/finisher after several years of experience working as a bench joiner. He has great attention to detail and ensures our products get their finishing touches before they leave the workshop.

You can count on Toby for a good laugh and good tunes. In his free time, Toby is an enthusiastic musician, collects guitars and enjoys going to festivals and concerts.

Andy Maidment, Bench Joiner

Andy lives locally and has worked for Oakwrights for over ten years, Andy works in assembly and enjoys any project that he can get his tetth stuck into, he can also turn his hand to machining.

He is another very keen cyclist and runner and does not bat an eyelid @ running a half marathon or two!

Todd Davis, Machinist

Todd joined us a few years ago. He is young and enthusiastic and brings fresh ideas to the team. He gets on with everyone and it always making us laugh.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing football for his local team and a visit to the gym.

Hugh Glanville, Apprentice

Hugh is our third apprentice at Oakwrights and joined us in October 2025. Hugh is attending Exeter College alongside his work with us. He elso enjoys

Peter Newsome, General Assistant

We call him Basil but his name is Peter?! Basil works on an ad-hoc basis helping keep the place spick and span and delivering our bespoke joinery to customers.

He also loves a bike ride challenge and keeping active.

Oakwrights Bath is based in Corsham, the heart of the countryside

 

The majority of our work is within a 50 mile radius of our workshop covering Bath, Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. With ease of access to the M4, our client base extends towards the East (to Berkshire and even into London) and the South (into Dorset and Somerset).
